Phillip H. This short review is to commend Scott Paris for his work in helping us find our home in Georgetown Texas. This was a long process, as my wife and I relocated from Southern California. Scott is easy going and doesn’t try to hard sell properties that are unsuitable. As someone who has held an RE license in California for nearly ten years, I believe Scott’s patience and general knowledge of the greater Austin area was a key factor in locating a great new build the ticked all the buttons for us. He also made recommendations for a local merchant that did a great job installing high quality hardwood floors for a reasonable fee. Follow up is another key to quality service and Scott did a solid job ensuring our home inspection was conducted properly and that things went smoothly through the escrow process. As a result of rapid growth, Austin is a very fast paced RE market that requires working with people who understand the needs of their clients. Scott’s professional conduct is right in step with the Central Texas home market.

Maria A. I found Scott, at Modern Homes by chance while surfing the Internet looking up some contemporary home designers. There was a home in foreclosure and started asking questions. Luck me, what a nice person he is and very patient, competent, prompt and capable of answering all my questions, as I am (was) a first time buyer. I bought a home more than a year after I started and although buying a home could be a very stressful, more so for a single woman on a “Short Sale” process, by having a person like Scott working with me, l felt very confident. I highly recommend him.

Deana J. We met Scott while visiting open houses in our neighborhood. We owned a home in East Austin and were trying to decide if the market and timing were right to sell our home and buy in the burbs to make room for our growing family. We could not be happier with the service Scott provided. He was incredibly knowledgable about the current market and knew the comps in our existing neighborhood and all the neighborhoods we were considering. He answered our many, many questions without pressuring us to make a decision. When we did list our home, he handled every detail professionally. While we knew he had many other clients, he was always prompt and responsive to every email, phone call and text. Based on his knowledge of our area he listed our home for close to $30,000 more than other agents we spoke with… and our home sold the first weekend it was on the market! Scott handled the negotiations with the buyers and actually got us an offer for $1,000 over our list price. He also got us a 3 day lease back so that we’d have time to close and move into a new home. When looking for a new home, Scott was just has helpful. He showed us all of the homes we were interested in and was just as knowledgable about the comps in a completely different part of town (east Round Rock). When we found our new home he scheduled the inspection and went through every detail with us. He negotiated repairs on our new home and got us everything we asked for. With both the buyer’s and seller’s agents he handled all of the negotiation details and kept us informed when a decision was needed. He always gave us his recommendation when we needed it, and we knew we could trust him 100%. We were very anxious going into this process, but Scott made every step of selling and buying go as smoothly as possible. We are incredibly thankful and will recommend him to everyone we know looking for an agent in the Austin area.

Brian M. I highly recommend Scott Parris. We successfully purchased a home in Steiner ranch within a month of relocating to Austin. Scott was extremely responsive and always made time to show any houses we were interested in. Most importantly, he goes above and beyond to make the entire process as stress free as possible. We were stuck in a hotel room with two small kids until we moved into our new house and without Scott there is no way we would have been in the house as quickly as we were. He worked tirelessly to get our broker, the seller, the seller’s agent, and the roof repair company aligned to get things done on time. To top it off, he not only sends emails reminding us to setup utilities and transfer warranties, but attaches the relevant documents and references specific page numbers for where we can find all the relevant information. The little things make a huge difference – we could not have asked for anything more from Scott, and I am glad we were able to find and close on a house with him.

Alex Z. Scott was our realtor for our first home purchase. We met Scott at an open house, and decided to work with him (vs. other realtors we’d met) as he listened to our budget and location preferences and sent us listings for homes that were in our price range (rather than $50-100k higher) and in the neighborhoods where we were looking to buy. Scott was very attentive to our needs, very helpful in helping us find a home, and an expert guide with everything from the offer through the closing. He stayed in touch with all parties from financing to the seller to make sure there were no hurdles at our closing. We would recommend Scott to anyone looking to purchase in Central Austin and have already done so to friends who are moving to the area.

Derek B. We were also first time home buyers and were so lucky to find Scott. The Austin market wasn’t easy (took us 7+ months, probably 60+ viewings and multiple offers to find the right house), but Scott was incredibly patient, helpful and answered all of our 52,379 questions we had along the way. He knew his way around Central Austin and the makeup of the homes in the area. When it came to looking at houses that popped up, he was always willing to meet us whenever we called or emailed. He was always upbeat and positive and totally had our interests in mind.I remember specifically, after being outbid on a house we loved, we considered making an offer on another house and Scott frankly told us, “I’m happy to put in an offer for you, but honestly, you don’t seem as excited about this house as you were the other one. I don’t want you making an offer if you’re not 100% in love with the house. You’ll find one that you love, I promise.” This really impressed us and calmed us down, and he was right. When we finally got an offer that was accepted, he took charge and let us know exactly what we needed to do and even booked a home inspection for us before the offer was accepted knowing we’d have to act fast once we got accepted. We loved working with Scott. Absolutely recommend him to anyone looking, thinking about looking or curious about what’s out there. He’s a great guy, and we’re so thankful that he was in our corner through the whole process. It was a lot of fun.
